Coyote Love’s original sound has been described as 70’s-esque Alternative Rock with a message. Some of Coyote’s more obvious influences are Lenny Kravitz, Beck, The Red Hot Chile Peppers, Sly and the Family Stone and Led Zeppelin.

 
MISSION STATEMENT

To create a self-sustaining production entity that produces and promotes the musical statements and compositions of the band’s leader, Hank Wagner. This includes performances, recordings and visual medium as well as the band’s actions and stances taken in the local and global community. These stances include authenticity and originality of art, ethical business practices, sustainable living, the ecology, educational reform, human emotional and spiritual evolution, and everyday Shamanism.

 

Bio - HANK WAGNER aka COYOTE

Before forming Coyote Love, Hank Wagner spent 15 years performing as a singer and actor, music directing numerous shows with New York City’s award winning Inverse Theater, producing and engineering for other people out of his home studio and essentially learning every aspect of production. The chrysalis complete, Hank has emerged as the writer, producer and the fearless troubadour at the center of Coyote Love.

Highlights include performing in the hit show “De La Guarda” at the Darrell Roth Theater, co-writing and performing the psychedelic rock drama “Drop” with Paul and Christine Mascott, 3 CD’s with “The Drop Band”(Syberdelix Records) and a 4 episode stint on HBO’s “OZ”.


 
Bio - THE COYOTE LOVE POSSE
The Coyote Love Posse is a community of musicians and technicians, based in New York City that support Coyote Love’s independent recordings and live performances.

The core live ensemble consists of singer Hank Wagner, bassist Darren Lipper (Willie Colon, Shawn Pelton, Kokolo), multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Rachel Grundy, and guitarist Sean Pace. Both live and on the recordings the core drummers are Tommy Kaelin (The Hatters, Vince Welnick, Michael Parrish Band, The West Side All Stars and Gent Treadly), Luke Notary (Cirque du Soleil, Lucia Micarelli, Jihae, The Mimetics, Hernan Romero) and powerhouse Bonham disciple John Gideon (The Drop Band, Inverse). Other musicians on the project include bassists Andrei Sebastian (Michael Louis Trio, Brooke Lundy, Heavenly Jams Band) and Arnold Gottlieb. The project also boasts the guitar talents of Mike Davidson (Zooté, Abby Normal), Tzvi Skolnik, Atom Fellows (Io) and Sammy Clementine (The Drop Band).
